Laser Eye Surgery for Clear Vision

LASIK and PRK are similar procedures that surgeons use to correct the focusing power of your eye so that you are independent of glasses and contact lenses. Both methods use a specialized cool laser called an excimer laser. This laser reshapes the cornea so that light rays are focused correctly on the retina to give you clear vision. The difference between the two is the creation of a flap in LASIK (there is no flap in PRK), but the actual vision correction is performed in the same way for both methods.

I use the Allegretto and Ziemer lasers for a completely blade-free process. We are happy to answer any questions you may have about the process, and offer a free consultation. Contact us today to set up your appointment. We look forward to seeing you.
